Ventnor Beach showing Spyglass Inn
Ventnor is a Victorian spa town with a Mediterranean feel and mild climate which has
caused it to be described as the 'Little Madeira of England'. It is one of the sunniest spots on the Island, thanks to the
sheltered southerly aspect. The town is built on a series of terraces beneath St Boniface Down, and its roads zigzag down
to the blue sparkling sea past the beautifully planted Cascade waterfall.
Elsinore is a charming Victorian town-house with spacious rooms and
a large, attractive south-facing garden and is conveniently located just a few minutes from the centre of Ventnor and the
beach.
Just the place for your relaxing holiday.
The accommodation is on the ground-floor and comprises a living-room;
dining kitchen and three double bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 is twin-bedded with en-suite shower; toilet and washbasin.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed, with access to a separate toilet and washbasin.
Internal access to Bedroom 2 is via Bedroom 3, although it is possible to access Bedroom 2 externally,
as the Living Room and Bedrooms 2 and 3 have French doors to the patio and garden, which have views of the beach and Ventnor
Bay.
The owners, Margaret and John Walker, occupy the other part of the house and so are on hand, if needed.
